We propose a unique trip in the company of one of our guides, Naturanda’s clients will leave Seville to head towards the most significant traditional White Villages of Andalusia. A perfect itinerary for those who want to know the roots, folklore and Andalusian Nature and some beautiful places with extensive history and tradition.
The route to reach the white villages runs along the old border between the medieval kingdoms of Castilla and Granada, which is why during our way we can see the old watchtowers and fortresses such as the Castle of the Aguzaderas located in the municipal of El Coronil, in Seville, a strategic point in the history of Andalusia and also has an enviable state of conservation.
From there, we will move to the picturesque white town of Zahara de la Sierra, in the province of Cádiz, nestled within the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, a protected area with great ecological value. We will cross its narrow streets, enjoy beautiful views and get to know an oil mill dedicated to the extraction and production of olive oil. Our visitors can taste this delicious delicacy and acquire any of its products.
The excursion continues towards the mountains of the Sierra de Grazalema, composed of a mountainous complex of extraordinary landscapes, geological and botanical interest. A natural environment where el Pinsapar y el bosque de altos stands out. This place also happens to be where it rains most in Spain.
We will then arrive at one of the most significant white villages in Andalusia, Grazalema, which gives its name to the sierra itself. Visitors will enjoy this beautiful town and its stunning views towards the mountains. In Grazalema we will take a break to enjoy its cuisine in one of its typical bars or enjoy everything this town has to offer.
Finally, we will move to the mythical and romantic city of Ronda, on a trip characterized by the impressive views of the Serranía de Ronda and the flight of the vultures. The Alameda, the New Bridge, the Paseo de los bullfighters and the Tagus are some of the most important parts of the city.
Our guide will explain to you the most important historical and cultural details of Ronda and also offer you some guidelines and tips so that you can explore the city independently for about an hour.
Once our visit to Ronda is over, we will head back to Seville where we will arrive after having enjoyed a beautiful day discovering the nature, history and culture of the White Villages of Andalusia.
