ARCHEOLOGICAL MUSEUM

Located in the Plaza de América in the park of Maria Luisa. It is a work by Aníbal González commissioned for the Ibero-American Exhibition of 1929. It is one of the most important in Spain due to its impressive collection of Roman and HispanicRoman remains from Itálica

MUSEUM OF POPULAR ARTS AND CUSTOMS

It is in front of the Archaeological Museum and is also the work of guess who: Aníbal González. It was easy. It was created in 1972 with the aim of showing the Andalusian ethnological heritage. In its rooms are exposed objects and utensils that move us to the customs and ways of living of the traditional culture of our area.

ANDALUSIAN CENTER OF CONTEMPORARY ARTS

During the 1992 Universal Exhibition, it was the headquarters of the Royal Pavilion. Throughout its existence it has had monastic, military and industrial use as a ceramic factory. Nowadays it offers a sample of the artistic tendencies from the middle of the 20th century until today

NAVAL MUSEUM

The museum is located inside the Torre del Oro. It comprises two floors and a panoramic terrace. Despite its small size, it is a real wonder, not only because of its extraordinary location but also because of the great historical value of its collection, which tells us about Seville, the river and the sea.

BULLFIGHTING MUSEUM

It is located under the gates 10 and 11 of the bullring of the Real Maestranza. After the Museum of Fine Arts, it is the most visited of the city. The Hall of Prints, according to the experts, is the most important collection of engravings, etchings, prints and lithographs in the world. The three remaining rooms are dedicated to: the ‘Maestrante’ corporation and its relationship with the bulls, the stage of bullfighting on foot with pieces and elements of the 19th century, the golden age of bullfighting and contemporary bullfighting. You can also visit the horse and crew yard, as well as the bullfighters’ chapel.

FLAMENCO DANCE MUSEUM

Located in the neighbourhood of Santa Cruz and created by initiative of the Sevillian dancer Cristina Hoyos, the museum was inaugurated in April of 2006.

CARRIAGE MUSEUM

It started in October 1999 and is located in the former Convent of Los Remedios. It is divided into four thematic rooms. It is also the headquarters of the Real Club de Enganches de Andalucía (Attachments Museum). The visit is fascinating, as it exposes both urban and rural carriages and their evolution over the years.
