Cruise along the Guadalquivir River
Discover Seville from a unique perspective with this boat trip sailing along its historic river.
We invite you to discover the Guadalquivir River, an ancient waterway steeped in history, legends and romanticism. It is the only navigable river in Spain and played a key role in the great expeditions to the New World. Its name, of Arabic origin, means “big river”.
Come aboard and enjoy unique views of Seville from a privileged perspective: a panoramic cruise along the Guadalquivir River. For an hour, you will sail between classic and modern Seville, taking in the Plaza de Toros, the Triana neighbourhood, its historic bridges, the international exhibition pavilions, the Isla de la Cartuja and the silhouette of the Plaza de España.
The old Betis, a natural border between Seville and Triana, was the point from which ships set sail for the New World and where Magellan’s first circumnavigation of the globe ended. On its banks, at the Monastery of Santa María de las Cuevas, Columbus prepared for his historic voyage.
Relax on a modern, comfortable boat while listening to a multilingual narration in Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, German and Italian, ideal for understanding every detail of the essential role this river has played in the history of Seville.
Go with the flow, pass under its iconic bridges and admire the city from a magical angle. What’s more, your experience includes discounts and additional guided tours so you can continue exploring Seville at your own pace.
Experience Seville from the Guadalquivir, the river that started it all.
